Web Changes

We introduced an expanded website effective April 1, 2003.  We now list more individual items from our inventory as well as advice and links to worthwhile garden sites.  Selected Items are for sale on the web now under our Products page.

Media Coverage of the Nursery and Other Promotions

You can find our print advertisements in The Atlanta Journal Constitution -- Friday Home and Garden Section for Gwinnett County as well as monthly in State by State's Georgia Gardening.  In addition, our nursery was profiled by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution June 11, 2004 and by the Gwinnett Daily Post July 14, 2005.

Two of our specimen maples (a Green Hornet and a Coonara Pygmy Japanese Maple) were featured in the landscape of the Alliance Theatre Guild's Christmas House November 11-19 and November 24 - December 3, 2006.  These specimens are situated in a dramatic natural wood and stone container conceived by Hammer and Hand Builders.

In Spring 2007, we made a presentation to the Gwinnett Master Gardeners Club on the subject of conifers -- one of our passions.  The discussion highlighted the variety and color that conifers can add to the garden.  Visit our Plants page to see a selection of our favorites.

Articles Published

We have recently shared our perspective on two of our passions: conifers and Japanese maples.  You'll find both articles in State by State's Georgia Gardening magazine (www.georgiagardening.com).  "On Cones and Needles" was published in the April 2005 edition and "Japanese Maples: A Seasonal Progression" was published in the November / December 2005 edition.
